Greetings,
I saw one post recently about using Russian Olive for a self bow.  Kind of startled me because i live a half mile from a forest of RO and never gave it a thought for bow wood.
Anyone using it? and any tips?
Thanks in advance

That bow is purty...Now its got me lookin at every olive in our river bottom trying to find a straight one.  Gnarled twisty sons of guns. Gotta get a head start on next years bow swap ya know.
