does anyone know if binghams draw weight chart uses total limb thickness, or just the core?

thanks

kennym

It uses the lams and glass measured at butt(center of bow),not including riser or wedges, whichever the case may be.

The TD pronounced longbow has a reverse taper, in which case, you measure the thick end of the forward taper, the thin end of the reverse taper, the parallel, and both glass.

Whew!

This is as it was told to me...  :)

18" on onepiece straight, and 17" on TD pronounced and shallow I'm pretty sure.

giff

how much weight would I lose if I only use a 14" riser on the straight bow?

kennym

It would be similar to lengthening the working limb by 4" so my SWAG(scientific wild a** guess) is 10# or so..
