I liked the natural (quilted) maple  that Greg used in my trade bow- I gave this figured maple a try- not as nice as the trade bow maple but it will do. Riser is shedua with black and white glass accents- limbs are maple veneers over a bamboo core.

The stack is 380 with a wag on the weight. This one will be pretty skinny. The riser specs- 22"x1.5"x2 1/4"- the length fade to fade is the 22"s- the thickness will be around 1.25-1.3" when done

Thanks!  Slowly making some progress on this one-my stack guess was a little heavy so some trapping and narrowing of the limbs is still needed- right now it is 63#s, but there is alot of sanding left so I should be able to reduce the weight some more. Here it is braced at a little over 6"s.

Limbs pulling straight and draw to 28" to look at tiller.

Here is where I'm at with this one-there is still plenty of sanding left before it gets some finish- it will end up 55#@28", 62"ntn- this one may turn into a two piece if I get ambitious or brave enough to cut it in half. Shot a few arrows with it and am liking how it performs.

Greg- It gains 2-3 lbs per inch until 30"s and then starts to stack-the other one had a couple more inches in it before it stacked. This one is super quiet and seems fast- I'll try and run some arrows through a chrono and see how it does compaired to the shorter riser with p-lams.This is drawn to approx. 30"s-

Shot the bow this morning compaired to another bow off the same form with the shorter riser- both are 55#@28" with the same #strands of FF string- shooting the same arrow- 9gpi. Although the bows are not identical the green bow was one of the faster ones I had until now- the new bow was consistantly 5-6fps faster- of course I had to post the highest speed-  :rolleyes:  

I like the new strung profile better and that is really good performance. Just curious, how fast does the swap bow shoot for you?
