i have seen several posts where for one reason or another a limb has a crack in the glass and the question is what can i do? this is what i did. the crack is in the limb on my takedown recurve. i took a 1/8 drill bit and carefully drilled in the glass right where the crack ended. i then filled with epoxy. thats it. done. the crack has not advanced one bit since i did the fix several years ago. the only thing i was sweating about was going too deep. no guts no glory. just close your eyes and drill. here's a pic of the fix.

i made the bow in 2002. it's from binghams plans. 60" 50# @28". super action wood limbs in green mountain camo as well as the riser. i rasped the riser with my grip to aid in consistancy and i didn't add the skins until a few years later. they were put on with TBII and sealed with 7 coats of super thin fast drying CA glue.

Nice job on the fix and great work on the bow.  Love the skins on the limbs.
