Hey Marty, hope all is well. Try heating the horn in the oven @ 250, check it regularly for pliability. Time will depend on thickness. I have used gemsbok for knives and the oven has woeked well.

Wow. Very nice and very creative with the horn on the handle. I was surprised how in blends in so nicely with the ebony.
