This blank has knot one, knot two, but three complete pass through knot holes.  Absolutely beautiful piece.  It is from a central Indiana tree I cut 2 years ago that had the thickest rings I have even seen.  I have made a couple bows from this tree and they are awesome.  Very dense stuff.  Very little string follow in the bows.  I did not heat bend this piece at all and it has 1" of natural reflex.  I really hate to let this one go but I have enough bows  :)

have it posted in the Sponsor's Classifieds if you want to buy it.

Wow John,
That is gorgeous!
You call it a blank. Did you already work it down to a ring? Is it ready to tiller?

Yes, my bow blanks are worked to a ring and cut to profile except the handle and tips are left wide.  They are thinned to the point to bending a little on floor tiller and are ready to tiller. This one is fairly wide and has a flat belly.
