Ok Bona I updated you to shipped. Now we have 3 bows in the mail and once they are received we will be in the single digits on folks awaiting a bow.

Checking in as one of the one with a bow still.  Dropped off the earth during finals week and now I'm back!  Went out to the shop today and got some work done. Welded up a billet of mokume today for the strike plate and did some sanding.  Got a bit of a surprise when I went to check the tiller after sanding.  Shes a full 10 lbs heaver than she was when I put her down before my tests.  It seems that she dried out a bit with the weather around here. Gotta fix that.  Shes got a mind of her own it seems....

Don't know if that includes mine. If not mark me down. Was planning to ship yesterday but the flemish string I ordered didn't come through over the weekend so I put together a 16 strand dacron and... shipped today! Oooooh yeahhhh!   :archer:

KellyG

Well now that makes 4 bows and with 12 bowyers waiting you have a 33% chance it is yours.  :)

Adam glad to hear from you, hope all is well and you did not get shaken up to bad.

Man am I ever sorry to my recipient for being so late. I was finally able to snap some pics of this thing before it goes into the tube and to the post office. I was going to expose who it's for, but maybe I'll just wait for them to figure it out.

I'm going to post a couple teasers here, but I'll post more in the Tradebow 2011 Pics thread.

65" T/T, red oak with brazilian cherry and walnut riser and tips, silencers provided by the tradebow founder. Sadly my scale is dead, but i'm very confident I totally missed my person's weight. It's light, but man does it zip an arrow. i can't venture a guess, cause i'm pretty green at this stuff. I just hope they have fun shooting her. Also made a few arrows. Naturals with fur tracers. POC with silk thread wrap. 125g field tips.

Kelly / Stiks: I am currently wrapping her up, and getting her tube-worthy, so bear with me as I get her ready for the post office. I am hoping to have her in the mail Saturday morning.

KellyG

Just post on here or shoot me a PM when it is sent.

33%!. I like those odds. Got the day off work(material didn't show up). So maybe, just maybe ill be lucky and get me bow today. Only 21 days till the whitetail opener here in mo.
I'm keepin my fingers crossed. If its not in the mail, nosweat just keep at it and take your time. What's that they say, "good things come to those who wait". If that's the case then my tradebow should be REALLY good!

Well I am pretty sure that bow is not headed my way as I am a right handed feller.  Good looking bow though fish.

Well here's a (poor) picture of a right handed one, just to keep you guessing.   :biglaugh:

Sorry about the picture quality, camera phone is al I had before it went in the mail. I hope the recipient enjoys it and maybe posts better pictures.

Nice bow Aram I am sure it will be in a very good home.

Aram

Thanks Kelly and I think so. Here is a shot of the handle.

BBI, 68.5 ntn, #52@28 the weight might change a bit as the bow is shot in. I only took about 50 shots with it at final tiller. Didn't want to write the stats on the bow so I had an idea:

Can't show the other side as it shows the name of he recipient. Errr... with a misspelling of course.    :knothead:  But I think it will work.

Aram, I really like that handle wrap. Great idea.

NTD

I came home from work today to a nice suprise.  Wow!

Bona, I am not worthy.  What an outstanding bow.  Your attention to detail is incredible, the tiller looks incredible.  The way you married the osage to the horn belly is just amazing.  Everything about it is just flat out awesome.  You used my favorite combo of woods and even used my favorite handle design.  Thank you so much!  I'm going to let it sit for a few days to stabilize to our temps and humidity and then I'll try it out.  Just looking at it I'm pretty sure it's going to be a screamer!

Keenan

Great looking bows! Great to see the details and best efforts being poored out on these bows. Definitely makes the wait worth it for the finals.

My bow had better hurry and get here....everytime I see a nice one I get hopeful. Everytime it goes somewhere else I cry...I tell you I CANNOT handle this emotional roller coaster much longer.
