FAST BOW !! ALL THE PICS!!!

Build that is,my buddy that I buy some lumber from called last nite. He tells me he wants a bow to give his kid for Christmas,can I do it?     :knothead:

I'll get some pics as soon as my panic attack wears off,hope to have enuff time next weekend to get er done!

Here is what he wanted,I'm callin it dirty hickory.

Should be a fine limb wood,coupled with edge grain red elm tho!

Rough ground the limbs, filed the nocks, sanded the limb corners so as not to lift any glass splinters, strung it and it pulls 52@28,lookin for 45,should come in just about right!

Still out on whether I like the hickory.......

Looking forward to seeing this one done and full drawn.  
I think I agree with you on the Hickory.  It's an amazing wood but for eye catching abilities our other domestic hardwoods have the edge.  The shooting charactoristics should be very appealing, though.

I bet your glad for the new insulation in the shop, i wish it would warm up a little. I'm betting it will be a beautiful bow when your done, they always are.
