Use acetone on all glue surfaces, a brush wont remove oil.

Using acetone won't hurt, but may not be needed.  Some guys swear by it, some guys don't bother.  I've done it both ways and haven't had any longbows delaminate yet (Knock on wood.)  Depends on the wood.  Cocobolo - use it.  Maple - probably don't need it.

So...how did it go? Or is the bow still in the oven?  :)

Big Riser

The bow is in the oven thanks for asking

It is always the hardest part, having to wait the prescribed amount of time for the bow to come out of the oven...... I am sure you are watching the clock...

Just keep those bad boys in the form until they cool to room temp.  I took one out while it was still just a lil hot and it "curled" a lil on me and twisted too just a touch.  BEEEEE PATIENT.  :)

Big Riser
