Then put some flames on it...

This is my first ever bow build.

I started on it a little less than a month ago. Took me about two weeks for the actual bow build with the careful guidance of Bob Barnes, an incredible Bowyer and friend.

Under Bobs watchful eye I worked on this Bamboo Backed Osage diligently and carefully.

I got it shooting after about two weeks and have shot it probably 1000 times since then, but have been finishing and refinishing it ever since.

After being discouraged time and again by my stain job not coming out as I wanted I decided to do something fun that would be functional in the woods, so naturally I decided on camo flames.

It took a little bit of set and with that the tiller has ended slightly negative. After fretting over it while shooting 3-5" groups consistently at 10-20yds I did enough research to find out that nobody really knows (pos, neg, even tiller v. even or uneven limbs...etc...)

What I have decided is I will definitely be able to kill a deer with it this year. Plus I am completely hooked on this whole building bows thing.

Finally 66" ntn, 67@28

Thank you all very much. Walkabout, the original stain job was supposed to be tobacco sunburst, but only the belly of the bow turned out the way I wanted, so I left it.

Thanks again guys.

One thing for sure, if my 50lbs at 150fps kills, 67lbs will kill em deader.

Good job.
