That is one slick little item.

I got one, and like it alot.

This looks looks the Ticket. I am waiting for a Dozen Staves to arrive and I like the way this vice can be made portable to take camping and clamp on picnick table etc. or even a Traier hitch 2" square mount would be a sinch to make up for it..

The StavePress is 28 pounds of steel- its a heavy and durable unit. It is convenient, it works great, and you are guaranteed to grow more hair to replace all that you have pulled out over the years while using a shop vise.  

We had a great time at Cloverdale this past weekend putting the StavePress to the test for several hundred folks!
