Osage bow. 62" ntn
brace height of 6"
pulling mid 50's to 60lbs right now
(don't know exactly haven't used a scale)

top limb looks strong
lower limb looks stiff below the fade.

pics at brace and drawn.

what do y'all think?

Both limbs need to bend more mid limb on, I think. Yes upper limb is stronger at the moment. Never pull a stave further than it takes to expose a problem. Jawge

Yup, george summed it all up...

If you tiller on a movable stick (in my case, a random stick with nails jammed in it) then you can lay it against something with a consistent grid (tile, linoleum, large grid paper) to check for even bending throughout each limb.
-How to make a bow-
Step one: Make a pile of shavings.
Step two: Shoot your new bow!

thanks guys.

yeah i used to be able to use a friends shop that had a nice tillering tree.
-then my wife got sent to Germany..
hello tiny apartment.

my new "shop" consists of a bed sheet in a corner on the floor and a few rasps and scrapers.
