Made a pretty limb tip on my first BBO. Never used it in riser.

Never used it but it WILL make a HEAVY riser. Shaun should be around pretty soon, he got a chunk at Kzoo.

Stagmitis

Great wood for risers and a close (and cheaper) substitute for gaboon ebony. Also much easier to find with adeqaute moisture levels than gaboon.
