in the old days religion had it's use to keep nations together. Today, religion tears nations apart.

Thanks guys...heres a few more pics after I sanded that sealer off.  I struggled with finding a good sealer for a long time..tried a bunch of different things, but I do indeed like this product as it sands so nicely.

Its in the final stages of finishing now...probably will only turn out to be 39# or so @ 28"...but all of the colors and the contrasts between dark and light wood really look good I think. Man I love this cocobolo.

Man that bow looks amazing ! Love those tiny tips. Hope I get the ones on my bow the same way. The coco riser is also very cool.

Nice work, I love that coco too.Are you spraying
Tbird satin epoxy. The first batch I got was almost semigloss and this new batch is really flat.Thought
I might have did something wrong.  Bill

Yes I am spraying it Bill.  Here is my long finishing process currently.  Im not sure how to do it better or faster, but any advice from anyone would be appreciated:

1.  Finish sand
2.  Seal the open grain riser woods with super glue and sand
3. Seal the whole riser with High Solids Vinyl sealer, sand
4. Wipe on or spray on the first cost of TB -Gloss, buff with steel wool
5. Notice the open grain that still isnt filled, so I fill it with TB gloss with my finger, sand lightly...then generally do this step 2 more times.
6.  Spray on a light coat of TB gloss, buff with steel wool....do this about 3 times
7.  Frost the last coat fo Tb gloss, which makes it almost appear satin.
