I had to look twice for the car. I was admiring the shoot through carp reel!

May you keep the wind to your nose, have the patience of Job, and have your Firstarrow fly true.

I double dog dare you to sand down a piece of wood, let the dust settle, and then write your name on the hood!

Jack Skinner

Osagetree I like the sound of that but she wont go for it made me buy a cover for the car.

Yes Paul its hers, gave it to her for our 25th wedding aniversary, any woman who stays with a trad hunter that long deserves something nice.

First arrow that is my favorite bow fishing set-up have tried others nothing has worked better for me than this shoot thru reel.

Pete I want to live to see my next hunting season.

Roy from Pa

Jack, you need to remember these two words.
YES DEAR:) LOL

I always say that to my wife to agree with her. But I have a great wife and we get along super well. She even shoot's a stickbow I made for her..

Well, here it is. It's not compeltely finished yet but it is usable. 18x20 just seemed so big to start with....

wow nice job. did you frame it yourself?i like the use of the t111. gives the rustic look with out the maintanance that lap siding requires, also not as pricey.ive been a framing carpenter for 20 yrs,i appreciate your work

skeaterbait

No, I have zero carpentry experience so got the pros to do the framing. Finished the inside myself that way everyone who walks in will know I have still have zero carpentry experience.

I am kind of smug about the wiring though, I do have a LITTLE bit of experience with that so it turned out ok. And by ok I mean no electricutions and the building is still standing. My buddy did get a bit of a buzz when we were putting the wall sheeting up, wrapped his fingers too far around the outlet when pushing it back in the box.  :jumper:

Your going to be sorry if you don't paint them walls and ceiling, it will help with lighting. I like it Lonnie, looks like a good shop. How are you going to heat it?

Nice shop skeaterbait. But I am with Dano, if you paint it bright white, the lighting will be so much better. What's a few gallon of paint compared to the money you already invested.. Another suggestion, your air cleaner in the ceiling, should be set at an angle across a  corner of the room. The air will bounce off the walls and circulate better around the room.

Roy from Pa

Like this Lonnie. The instructions which came with my air cleaner showed to mount it like this. Or if that is a heater, I apologize.

Not sure why everyone keeps saying Dano's shop looks so clean. Looks like it is infested with bloody big rats to me. Did you import that thing from NY City or something.
Keep the wind in your face and the sun at your back.

Would be great if Dano forgot his hat out there some night, and them rat's chewed a hole in it:)

Tractor

Yikes!  That thing is huge.  Makes me wonder if Dano didn't just post a pic from a trail cam he has set-up in his shop.

If not that is one bold rodent.

Dano

Boy's that's my little buddy, he watches the shop for me.   :bigsmyl:   He doubles as a target too.

I may end up painting but first I need to get my garage back in order so I can put my truck in before we get anymore snow. Then come spring time I have to get the outside painted. Sadly we were already in the bad weather before the guy had it done so I didn't get to paint or put the gutters on.

The heat is a combo heat/AC unit from Lowes. It's rated for 640 sq ft and does a real nice job on my 360 ft.

I am looking forward to getting setup and started on a lam bow, I haven't done one of those yet.
