Bowyers, beginners and wood hacks like me, show us your Knots!

Challenge: Post some pictures of knots you are working on or have worked into a functionable weapon.
Feel free to provide a description or any direction you feel is needed or just photos you've found of knots on selfbows. The intent here is to show the possibilities, the hard work done and to provide incentive for others.
Some may learn something from this, some may gain confidence in a knotted up old stave, someone like me may get a bit more motivated and some will just enjoy the photo's!

A little more wood along the edge around the pin not may have prevented this break.

This bow had a nice knot in the top of the handle / fade but, ended up too light and slow. I shortened it and found a young feller to go frog'n with me. The bow fit him well and took a few frogs that night.

Oh yeah, I like that nasty little take down.

I'm just a begining bowyer and for some reason tha nastier the stave the more I am drawn to it. I really like those character bows. For some reason a good straight knot free stave just don't turn me on like a wiggled up knotty one does. High hopes I know but I'll get there.

Longbowhuntr, what kind of sleeve did you use on that?

I think that was called the small "D" sleeve.
