You will love them all. Start with The Bent Stick. It is basic and will set you up for Hunting the Osage Bow. Read the TBB series in order. Number 4 updates the first 3 plus great info from Marc St Louis(heat treating bellies)and Steve Gardner's Mass Theory and others.
I have them all and am constantly referring to one or the other.

one of the best books you'll ever read!

TBB 4 has quite alot of updates from TBB1. interesting parts in TBB2 are the chapters about board bows, steambending/recurves, and broadheads (for hunters). TBB3 is great with the info about all different kinds of bows, TBB1 is the basis for these books. TBB4 teaches you how to get the best performing bows. Enjoy the read!!

and I agree with Pat. Start with the bent stick. Haven't read hunting the osage bow yet :s

goodluck!

I was gonna ask some of you guys which ones you thought I should read first.
Thanks for the input.

I'm gonna spend the next couple of days cutting timber to make staves. Got access to BL, Mulberry, Hickory and Osage all by the truck load   :bigsmyl:

Read Dean Torges chapters on finding and cutting osage first. Lots of good insight there before you go a cuttin".

Any of you guys go to cloverdale in june? If so I might bring a few staves looking for a new home for some of you fellas who have been so helpful along the start of this journey I have begun. I plan on cutting a load of 'em
