Where can I find some good info on making horse bows?

"Building the Asiatic Composite Bow" DVD (3Rivers)

"Building the Korean Horn bow", Thomas Duvernay, DVD (3Rivers)

Huntworthy Productions may be able to give you some guidance on laminated glass bows in this style.

My first question is for what purpose are you trying to  make one.The reason being what do you intend to use it for?mounted archery, hunting, flight shooting?every composite hornbow has a purpose that determines how it should be made,I have made replicas from fibreglass and wood and am currently working on a few true composites with horn wood and sinew,I do not know if they will survive, but that is the fun in the game.
Laminated fibreglass replicas are fairly easy to make, the fun begins when you try to make ones with horn,I found out the hard way,but every moment has been more than worth it.

Well i'm actually asking for a buddy of mine who is interested in making one. I think he would wnna use glass because he does not have much experience. He does plan to hunt with it someday tho

I made one with 040 glass back and belly with 1 parallel maple and 1 tapered red elm lam and maple for the handle and sahiyas and it turned out descent,I am  going to do a couple more in the near future.I would suggest mulberry for the sahiyas though and I got my lams from Kenny. His product is excellent.

this was one I made earlier.
