Ok Friends,

Here is my latest bow, osage 61"ntn 57#@28". The right limb shows a little stiff spot 8 inches in from the fade this is due to a check that ran off them limb. I wrapped it with sinew to prevent any trouble.

Drawn to 22"



Full draw.

I had planned this bow to be asymetric but the tiller was giving me fits     so I evened the limbs up.

So how do I go about tillering the asymetric bow. I have read and re-read Torges HOB, but fall short in this area.

Any suggestions?

If you are looking for critical assessment, the right limb seems to have a stiff section on the inner 1/2.  But not necessarily enough to warrant adjustment.  I try to let the set it takes from work and from it's initial profile be the final answer on such things.

Tillering an "asym" bow is no different than any other.  It's just that the apex of the curve falls at the arrow pass, versus middle of the "handle."  This makes it kinda look a little more positive tiller, but I use the same tiller measure.

The bow is dead in the hand and after shooting shows 3/4 " of string follow.

David, I start out alright on the asym. bow but right after going to the short string I lose it and start to struggle.
