Very nice. Love the wood combo and great job on the finish. I've seen many and nice bow left mediocre with a poor finish. Your finish work brings out the best in your bow. Good work
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Nick,

I teach an archery class at the middle school that I work at.  We build fiberglass bows, but I'm showing my students this as an inspiration!  Excellent work!

Nick,
I have been thinking about doing a recurve Ipe lam bow and I am glad to see you do it first so I can see how it was done. One question for you. How tall were the blocks of wood you used at the ends for the glue up?
Great job and keep them coming.

razorback

Nick that is a fine looking bow. How does it shoot, any noise or hand shock. What are the final specs on the bow.
Keep the wind in your face and the sun at your back.

The most beautiful bow I heve ever seen and I've made a few myself - you are going to go very far in life if you do everything with that much effort and care.

God bless

I am just stunned!

Quite an achievement doing this while keeping the studies going, too. And I remember from my highschool days here that the Dutch kids that came over here found themselves extremely bored with our school system. They had already covered everything long ago in Holland.
The older I get, the better I was.
