Great job as usual-- you are a craftsman/artist!  I like David Mims handles. Larry

Looks like a good 'un Dano.  Yer right about osage staves.  I've gotten to the point I'll part perfectly good staves and the splice the two "good" ends back together, and the two character ends.  Mostly for the purpose of getting the two character ends.  Straight selfbows are boring, lol.

Thanks for the kind words too, although I may have fallen from grace.  Ain't had the patience required for proper tillering in quite a spell.  But I'm excited about a lil project I'm working, from the glass side of the tracks.  Much less hassle factor on the tillering, but they have their own challenges as well.

Hey Dano,
I'll reckon that one of us from "Hedge Country" will be able to spare ya a piece of osage at MOJAM...  :D    ;)

You self bow guys amaze me. Good job
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Man that is a sweet looking bow....I love Osage more than any other wood for a self bow. Waiting on some hickory staves to dry out now for my first one. I love the look of that bow. Very nice.
