Hey Gang--------the finished product. My second attempt at bow making: hickory selfbow-47# @ 25" (wife's draw). Phenolic tips and backed with Saharan rock viper:













You can see the arrow fly just to the right of her bow limb:

Ben, you did good. The smile on your wife's face say's it all. Tiller looks great, but I especially like the handle wrap trough the fades like that.

Very well done, Ben. Your wife's smile does tell the whole story. She also has very good form.
  Is the snake skin from the belly of the snake? It looks like belly scales.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!

Pat----it is the Belly of the snake. my wife liked the pattern that changed as it went from the front ot the tail.
Had a lot of fun making it. My wife loves it too. She's only had it a day and she's taking it this weekend for our local 3-day Trad. Shoot--instead of her Kodiak she's shot for 2 years!
