I'm trying to get setup to start making my first bow.  I've got all the materials for my first two bows, thanks to Kenny.  Now, I've just got to get me a shop setup to do some bow work.  I've got a shop for doing metal and auto work, but it's hardly setup for woodwork of any kind.  So, I've got another 16' X 24' building that's being converted into a woodworking shop only.  Well, except for the 8' X 16' section I've got to wall off for my wife a place to store all her junk in.  But, that still leaves me with a 16' X 16' work space.  I went out today and purchased myself a bandsaw, benchtop belt/disc sander, and a drill press.  Working with a small budget, I decided to start with a Skil 9" bandsaw, Skil 4"X36"/6" belt/disc sander, and a Skil 10" benchtop drill press.  I looked at the Central brand that Harbor Freight sells, and the Craftsman brand that Sears sells, but the Skil was much better made, and came with more options.

Well, you know what they say, "from these small beginnings, great things come", maybe someday.
Genesis 21:20 - "And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer"
