Just finished short turkey bow

I made this bow out of a 4"dia Red Cedar sapling.I backed it with Hickory as thin as I could get it. 54" 50#@26. 1&3/8" to 1/2" tips. It took 1&1/2" of set. Shoots quick. Turkey Poison

Nice job. you did real good for such a short bow. Love the skin job, those are copperheads on the mid limbs? I haven't seen that pattern in the snake. I built a bamboo backed juniper that actually gained reflex as I tillered it, I'm thinkin bamboo backed red cedar would be great too. Once again nice work Kendall.

Upper limb is an inch longer then the lower and it bends thru the handle just slightly.
