So, I'm trying to tiller a glass lam bow and, to be honest, I'm ready to throw the whole thing in the fire and go back to my wood bows.    

What the %$@$&^% am I doing wrong!  :confused:        I really need to go back to self bows.     I'm at a point now where I seriously think I need to make a couple new limbs, because I'm not sure there's going to be anything left on these when (and if) I ever get them straight.  I really need to understand how this thing is supposed to work before I do that, though.

how bad was the twist to start with? i just got strung up for the first time today, and it had very little twist.i was happy to say the least. what i had to do to correct the twist i had, was whichever side of the limb was pointing down( when looking at the end of the limb. with the back of the facing the floor) you file the string groove on the lower side of the limb, and take off limb material on that same side. it worked for me. hope it works for you good luck.

That makes sense, but I think I'm way past that.  I'll look at it again, but it seems like if I take any more off, I'm gonna have one skinny little limb!  

We'll see how it goes.
