Been tweaking my r/d forms for a few years now,may finally be gettin close to what I'm lookin for.
Heres one off a new form(form still needs tweaked, got a wiggle in the limbs) I really like the way it shoots and seems to be quieter than the last one.

64",50#@28" osage and amber actionboo with osage riser, wenge accents

Stay sharp, Kenny.

Is this the one with .003 taper?

Have you got an unbraced pic?

Nice work Kenny.

It maybe just be the picture, but that bottom limb looks a bit shorter than the top.  Nice draw profile though.

Nice Bow! Also good buck in the background! Slick how you managed to show off that bad lad at the same time!  :bigsmyl:

PV, that is the one with .003 . I'll get a pic of profile shortly.

Tim, Limbs are equal, center should be under my thumb. Probably canted a bit.

Lee,I was in front of the granpa clock,my wife made me move to prevent reflection. She prolly figured you all would rather see a rack as a timepiece anyway!! LOL
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Nice job Ken!!!
Thanks for the pic's

my winter project and
the reason I asked for the pic's. Similar design with .002 taper with tip and riser wedges. Can't brace and draw it right now but if you'd like to compare I'll get someone to string and draw it for some pic's.

Looks sweet Kenny, have you been adding more curve as you go, or less, or a little of both?  Some I'm seeing are close to having that string touch the limb when strung or just about, have you been there?  I took a little time off the longbows and have been working on recurves.

PV-They look pretty similar,don't they!

Thanks again guys!! I'll be shootin it some more this weekend, sposed to hit 40!!

Mike,I am getting away from the really recurved tips. My last one was that and seemed a bit noisy to me. Upon first shooting this one,it seemed to be much quieter, probably won't have the speed, but if it does ,it'll be a winner for sure!!

Here is some more pics...

The handle, wenge looks really good with osage!

A tip...

Overlay on back...

The heartbreaker, was a bit cold in the shop when I glued up,the thicker glue split my back lams when the glue squeezed out, both of em,and slid em apart about 1/8"!! Still shoots good and wont affect the bow, sure glad it was a test bow. It is now sentenced to a couple years of huntin with me!

Stay sharp, Kenny.

I like that look!  If it didn't effect the performance, I wouldn't give a hoot.

Great looking bow!
Support the sport!

Like the color combo Kenny. Nice shape on the tips and riser also. Stuff happens and as you said better in a test bow. Kind of looks like the red streaks you get in osage sometimes.

Jeremy

Very nice profile... and I like the looks of the split!  :)
