Hey y'all!  I haven't been on here in a few years since I moved away from TN.  The company I work for closed it's TN operations with very little notice and I wound up moving to the Seattle area and living in a studio apartment for a while with all my tools and archery gear in a storage unit in TN.  Then transferred to Atlanta for more apartment life and finally moved to Texas about 30 miles from Austin and got a place where I could build a shop.

Anyway, this is my most ambitious attempt at a pattern welded blade and I would like to thank Lin Rhea very much for being so generous with his time and knowledge to post his tips and info on here.  I basically tried to copy his    thread  on ladder pattern development where he even did the math for us.  I know my work doesn't come close to his, but I'm really pleased with how this blade came out.  Trying to make evenly spaced grinds with an angle grinder is harder than I thought!

It's good to see you back on here and producing knives like this. It's very nice! Great job!

When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Nice, I hope it has your Maker's Mark on it as you should be proud of it.  Chad
