This Bowie has a 10 inch laddered W pattern welded blade. The handle is a nice piece of Sambar Stag. The fittings are forged and filed stainless. It will be on my table at the Art of Steel Custom Knife Show.

I have a question that always enter my head when viewing your knives, do you put an edge on them for the ones that you show?

They always appear to be unsharpened when viewing.

And they always appear to be Beautiful

South MS Bowhunter, It is sharp. I sharpen before etch which explains the etch going all the way down to the edge. It is in new condition. In other words, after the next sharpening, it will have a very thin metallic line along the edge. That is to be expected. However, it is sharp. I sharpen my blades before any other part is installed. Yes, I work with it sharp and occasionally get cut. But that's the only way I can test the blade's cutting ability and heat treat and make any necessary corrections.

The knurled spacer behind the guard is probably a separate piece, but I saw a closeup of that rope-carved piece behind that on Facebook. Was that filed from one piece, or is it three pieces.
? I sure couldn't see any separate pieces in the close-up.
