Thought I'd share a couple knives that I've wanted to build for awhile now. This blade profile is my favorite for marking calves or skinning furbear's but works very well for everyday use use for me.

I did something different on the brow tine that I think will work pretty well. I've always been frustrated about the soft pith in antler and have wanted to keep the antler natural. Elk Brow tines have the thickest hard horn so I drilled the pith out and turned the tip for a plug. I like the way it polished up.

Looks real natural.  The other thing you can do is fill the pith with thin super glue multiple times until all the porous areas are smooth and filled in.  Then it will be rock hard and you can polish it...tippit

Jeff, I've heard that super glue will turn white over time. That would be perfect on antler  

Bet that brow tine feels very comfortable in the hand. And as always, I really enjoy seeing anything you do in leather   .
