8 below for the high today so after chores figured it would be a good day for computer work... Anyway I only had a few minutes to finish this one up and brought it to the house with me. After a couple so-so blades I got one to show like I wanted. Forged the blade from 1/2" round a buddy gave me. Clay coated and quenched in Parks 50, 3 3/4" W2 blade, mortised elk horn scales and peened pins.

Thanks for looking

That's really a sweet knife, Doug.
Hamons will either thrill you, or drive you over the edge.
It's a dance - and it seems like you're on your toes, here.
Cool.
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Love it Doug! Great work on the hamon. I am sure it won't be your last. The whole knife has fantastic lines and the hamon really adds to the whole package.

That's really a very cohesive, well-designed knife.  I echo what Ben said.
