I just finished these two up and thought I would share them. They are both 14c28n stainless with a thin full flat grind.
The first one has a 6" blade. The handle is some very nice stabilized Amboyna burl and my copper/carbon fiber pins. It has a stonewashed finish that should be very easy to maintain and a tapered tang.
The second one has dyed and stabilized maple burl from Burl Source and I used my Jade G10/copper pins. It has a 5" blade.
These are super light and should make great users.

Very nice, a great addition to any one's kitchen.  I like the finish on the first one, but what do you mean by stonewashed finish? Thanks

I media blasted and then tumbled them in a vibratory tumbler. It is a nice finish that is easy to maintain, which is great for a kitchen knife.

Real nice Ben. My son wants me to make him a chef's knife. You've given me some inspiration.

Great knives. Would you mind sharing how you blend the flat grind in without a plunge line? Is the fade from in front of the handle to the heel of the edge ground diagonally?
