I finally got some time in the shop and tried to take advantage of it. I have several projects going but these two blades got pretty well done. I have a little touch up to do but I will do that right before I wrap it up to install the guard.

One reason I like to post pictures of blades and knives in different stages is so it will show the taper, tang size, etc. I think this is important. These will get finished and I'll post some more along the way.

I really like that little hunter Lin. What are you thinking for handle material?

Nicely done, I bet its 5160.

I'm thinking Blackwood on the large knife and sheep horn or stag on the hunter. I also have the guard in the bird and trout so I have some decisions to make. Thanks

Like them both. Looking forward to the finished knives.
