My nephew surprised me last Christmas with a fly rod he made - beautiful 9' 5 weight rod perfect for panfish in our lake.

I wanted to reciprocate, so here's another little Alabama Damascus billet (or a tiny part of one), 3" blade with dark stained, stabilized maple scales that will be headed off to him.

This young man is one of those who will appreciate it and will also use it. He has one of my larger stainless blades (ATAS-34) that I made him 10 years ago.

Great looking little knife & sheath!  I like how you integrated the file work into the handle!

Well done!
