Here is a blade that I forged and heat treated a while back but left it sit till this afternoon. I decided to work on it while waiting on one in the oven and I am liking it more and more. It's 9 1/2 inches and is 5160 steel. This blade has some heft, being .330 at the ricasso. You can see that it still has the burr after testing and retouching it. This blade has a lot going for it so I look forward to bring it back up after a bit.
