Here she be Gang, decided to go with African Blackwood instead of Ivory like the original. Course she's a fair bit different from the original anyway.

In keeping with the Meteorite theme I tried a little inlay a little artsy stuff in the handle. I started to do wire inlay but after practicing on a piece of scrap Blackwood I decided it was just too hard and brittle for my limited skill. Wound up doing dots with several sizes of stainless wire to hopefully depict a shooting star...     :saywhat:

Anyway hope you like it and it'll sure be going to Arkansas with me. Thanks again for the positive comments!

Wow, It is nice indeed!! In the picture on the red"stool", the pattern look like a crocs, two nostrils at the tip, one big eye just bellow the transition of the sharp spine thing... What would the steel characteristic be? What is meteorite, how do you know what your getting??

That is just incredible, Doug. I sure would like to be going to Arkansas to see all the knives, but mostly I'd like to see you, Lin, Karl and the other TradGangers who will be there.

That is just cool. I really enjoyed this and want to see it when we get together.

Allan, Come on even for a day. We'd treat you right. If you can come Friday, youd get to see some bowies used in the competition. PM sent  :campfire:

That's just perfect!  Really great job on a truly unique knife.  The handle is a perfect complement.    :notworthy:
