One headed across the ocean.
1095/416 San Mai blade with stainless take-down fittings and Desert Ironwood handle.

When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

That's not a forced pattern. It is a San Mai blade - a 1095 tool steel core sandwiched between two layers of 416 stainless steel.

I glance at this forum occasionally.  I'm not a maker, but I love knives.  I've always wondered about the takedown feature.  Seeing the video was enlightening.
