A little crain cable san mai
green canvas and red liners.  Took a little extra time in the feric to get the cable to pop so the layers of steel etched deep in the spine and rather than grind it out I left it becuase I liked the look.  Very organic.
As my usual, welding rod for pins and the thong hole is lined with an arrow shaft.
4" blade 7.75" overall

Great looking!  I like everything about it!

Hey, that's cool!  I really like the green micarta and the "organic" look you captured.
"Walk softly...and carry a bent stick."

"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God the Father through him."  Col. 3:17

Thanks - I, too, really like this one and plan to make more.  Rather simple when compared to the folded blades but I just like how it turns out.  If you look close you can see a line from top to bottom of the blade in front of the handle and just into my makers mark.  This line is where I first dunked it into the quench oil and swished it back and fourth a couple times prior to fully submersing it.  Kind of a hamon and not intended but that area did not etch as deep as the rest of the blade???  I am sure someone here knows why(chemically) but I have no clue.

Thats a fine looking tool.
