I came across this picture while browsing through some of my old photo files. I have made 5 folders up to this point, and this one was my personal carry for a long time before it was given to my stepfather. He had it for years, and then it came back to me after he passed. I used it for few more years, and then took this picture before it was given as a gift to my best friend from work when I retired. Blade is 1/8" mirror polished "D2" tool steel 2.75" long. Handle was made from 2 mirrored pieces of hand shaped 1/4" 304 Stainless Steel bar stock with white "ivory" portion of an exceptionally large elk antler shed I found long ago. I have regretted not taking the time to document a lot of my old knives I made in the past, so now I am documenting everything I make.

I'm a big fan of folders, that looks like a fine one. Thanks for posting it.

Its cool when knives have history.
