Hey all,

Over time I have read that a lot of people really like and swear by the knives made by MORA.  They are inexpensive at $12-$25 and are said to be razor sharp and easy to maintain an edge.

Just curious to see how many of you use them and like them.

Thanks

I have several Mora knives and love them all.  Chuck at "Two Tracks' has them to sell.  He is in the sponsors list.

I wear a Mora as a neck knife all the time. Hiking, camping, yard work, whatever. For the money they really can't be beat. They're inexpensive enough to have a couple lying around, and if you loose one it doesn't hurt as much like it would for a costlier knife.

I'm currently working on sanding and refinishing the handle because I dont like the heavy red finish on mine.

THey are nice looking knives; I think I'm gonna give one a try.

I bought one with my paper route money in the early 1960's. It was the smallest in the line.  I used it for a number of years, but generally like a bigger knife field dressing deer.

Recently, I have been giving some thought to making a new handle for it and using it as a necker. It is too good of a knife not to use it.

Hard to go wrong, I have a few. I have more knives than I care to mention, and my moras get used the most. Friend was impressed a month or so ago when I used it to process a deer, beginning to end as sharp as it started. I have beed trying to get it dull by using the snot out of it, but it still is sharper than most knives. Make sure you choose your steel wisely, the carbon patinas very quickly compared to the stainless (obviously) but throughs a wicked spark shower lol

Moras are awesome knifes for all types of work and play . Very sharp out of the box and TUFF as nails . Check out some reviews on you tube under "mora knife torture test"

I got three last year at one trade show, both SS and carbon.  They touch up real easy.

Great value, and sharp as heck! I bought a bunch of them from Chuck for early Christmas presents for most of the hunters in our family.

I have one of the wood handled ones.  Made a new handle out of my riser wood and antler. It is mounted on my quiver. That laminated steel is righteous and sharp.  You can customize them sooooo  easily

I have 2 of them(the frost one, like the one of Tenbrook) and they are great knife! Not as sexy than a custome or even a more traditional hunting knife but inexpensive, have great grips, and realy good steel that is easy to sharpen... A working tool!!

Brute killer

I have two. One carbon & one ss.
I like them.

I like em too. They are great and can't beat the price. I have a carbon steel one with the red and black like tenbrook, and also a SS one.

Good knife for bushcraft too.
