I wanted my own personal carry knife and this is what I came up with. The blade is 2-1/2" long and the overall length is 6". Blade is made form 1080 carbon steel. The scales are walnut burl. Brass liners with a cross file work in the tang. The brass bolsters have a mosaic design between the pins.
I think it will be a handy knife although there are already some things I want to change.
Thanks for looking! Mike

Mike, that is a fine knife. Not sure that I would change anything.

That's the idea! Every knife is practice for the next one.
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.
