INFO: Trad Archery for Bowhunters



One For Me...

I just finished this caper/small game hunter.  The blade is reclaimed saw steel that was clay quenched, etched in vinegar, and then rubbed with pumice powder and water on my fingertip.  The scales are of streaked horn with a frost finish.  The sheath has been ebonized (i.e. blackened) using the etching solution the blade was treated in and then waxed.

I don't seem to post anything really different like some of you fellas, but thanks for looking nonetheless.

LOOKS GREAT, and you should not think of all yours being the same as much as that anybody on the site that looks at knives could see one of yours without knowing who built it and yet they would know you built it cuz its your style.
