I saw a post where a guy redid an old 110 with fancy handles and damascus blade, I was wanting to redo the handle on the one I have for my Mom for mothers day. She bought it when I started hunting with her (my dads a city boy). She now lives in AK , so I don't get to see her and figured she would like a sentimental gift.

So my question is, is it hard to replace them and what tools do you need?

If it is tough,  is there any tradgangers that do that kind of stuff ? What would it cost?

Thanks
Fin

Also its in perfect condition, should be straight forward. Don't have a lot of $,  just want to make it a special gift, so trying to do a little research. Its not a junker like the one the guy started with on the post I read. Lol

I think Clarence Smitherman is the person who rebuilt the Buck knife that you are talking about. He is excellent at that sort of thing and is also a great guy. His email is skullworks02@gmail.com. Clarence has done work for me on several occasions and his charges are very reasonable for what he does.

I will, Mr. Smitherman is kind enough to fit me into his very busy schedule, so im excited. It will be stabalized Magenta and black dyed masur birch. Should love great. Now I just need to find a nice sheath for it!

Thanks
