The little belt knife is a gift for a fund raiser. A guy at work has some health issues and there is a benefit dinner. thanks guys

Mater I love that little belt knife. That is something that I was going to try on my next knife for myself. It's great to see one done by someone else.

Love the belt knife. My uncle built on for me and I never hunt without it. Strong work Mater.

Mater, cool knives!

Do you use flux to forge the copper into the steel?  Assuming that is copper!

I tig welded it on first, then pound it in. Somebody on here was talking about this along time ago, I said Id try it. It just took me awhile to get around to it. I sure like the looks of it. I need to control it better. Its kinda hard to see while your doing it, gets all black and you cant tell where youve been.

Steve Nuckels

Humm!  Interesting!

In may I will get to talk to MS Daniel Winkler and get his take on that technique as well!

Thanks,

Steve
