Thought I'd post this picture and thank Doug Campbell in public for the gift he sent my way.

I was shopping for a belt grinder and call Doug for a little advise on what was good for a entry level belt sander. He sent me his old one with some advise on what would make it better. I added a moter and a step pully to give it some slowdown.
I have to get to town for some parts to wire the switch in and plan to add a disk sander to the end of the arbor in the future.
Thanks a bunch Doug. Can't wait to grind the first one. RS

I'm hoping all the training Doug did on this one sticks with it. If I hold a good peice of steel up to it maybe it will just shape it for me  ;)

My luck, it will be just like a horse though.
