I have a question, I'm putting together my first two knives from some blades I aquired through a trade.  So I epoxied the wood to one side of the two blades.  The epoxy is curing in a white color.  What can I use to clean the epoxy up?  Especially the one blade has some pretty tool work on the edges of the handle and that filled with epoxy.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

P.S.  If it matters I think the epoxy is MT-5, slow cure.

Acetone, works good but you need to be careful as too much can ruin the epoxy and make the scale come off.

I thought MT-5 cures opaque/white/yellow.  Isn't that used for takedown hardware?  I've used DevCon and G2 epoxy and they cure clear (maybe with a yellowish tint).

I mis-typed, it's smooth-on.  It's a two part epoxy.  I still have to try acetone.  It cured bright white.  We'l see.
