we always see knives in the side veiw, and that is the most appealing veiw. but lets see some from a vertical veiw to see the profile of the disstill taper and handle profile.  ok lol i am doing this mostly for my learning but im sure otheres will benifit from it also.

I see things that are not perfect about it, but in general this illustrates the different areas of a knife that a maker needs to give attention to. Thanks, Lin

That macro lense will certainly humble a fella!
Here's one I just finished yesterday to drag down to Atlanta in May.

Karl, I think that's the most beautiful piece of damascus I have ever seen. The dark guard and butt really set it off. You sir are a real craftsman. Thanks for sharing.

Dustin, Maple burl scales, pics don't do them justice!  I pick up scrap maple from a custom gun stock maker.
