Guys here are some I recently done for a friend. He wanted one like Skull had posted on Aug 16, I went and scketched from that pic.He wanted a 10",8",and 6" with redwood burl handles.
I forged the Damascus from 15N 20 and 1084,(352 layers)
This was new for me ,I have never done the scandnavian grind or made a spear point and very few full tang knives, therefore this was quite challenging for me.
Heres what I came up with http://s307.photobucket.com/albums/nn293/coonpeter/?action=view¤t=BryanFinal010.jpg" target="_blank">

It is IMHO you did not one but three fantastic jobs on these.

It looks to me that you copied the same blade almost like a clone. right along with the leather work.

Great job all the way around.

Hello, gentlemen. I usually don't post in this forum.  However, I look in here all the time.  I even have met some of you through our dealings.  I will probably meet even more of you in time.

The reason I am posting on this thread is because, I am the VERY PROUD new owner of these knives.

I met Kevin a short time ago and purchased one of his knives in a previous post.  I liked the knife so much, I asked him if he could make me a whole set of knives.  He accepted, and you can see the outcome above.  The pictures are great, but they do not do these knives any justice at all.  They are absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!  I hope to someday pass these babies down to the next Horner generation.

I also wanted to say that Kevin is a top-notch man.  He not only built these knives for me, he did a complete walk through of the build with pictures.  That was my favorite part of this experience.  He also took the extra time to incorporate me in almost every decision.

I wanted to say one more thing about Kevin and this just goes to show you how great he is.  He shipped these knives to me and surprised me before I had even paid him.

That is something you just never hear of.

THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!!!
What would you attempt to do, if you knew you could not fail?

Never leave the one you love, for the one you like.

Bryan, you picked one heck of a knife maker for this project.
Beautiful set all the way around.
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.
