No Sights Needed

I tried to cut out a knife from a saw blade and i used 2 drimmel cutting wheels just on the top. am i doing something wrong or just need a different type of wheel? or is this just the way its done

robtattoo

Nope, you're doing nothing wrong. It does take a fair bit of time & a good few wheels to cut out a sawblade!

are you using the reinforced ones? if not then plan on going thru 6-10
anything can happen on a texas friday night, if you dont mind your manners you dont mind a fight

If using a dremel, you almost have to be using the reenforced wheels.
That said, while the dremel will do it, it is on the small side.  A die grinder with 3" cutoff wheel will last longer and cut much faster.
