Damascus, walnut and antler skinner

I made this for a buddy. 3.5" damascus skinner blade with walnut and antler handle. Started to put a horn spacer between the walnut and antler for contrast but decide not to. There is a deer print engraved on the butt cap of the antler. Sheath is hand made with cordovan and oil finish. Enjoy!

The feel was one of the key elements the guy I did it for has carpal tunnel syndrome and the angles are pretty critical to keep him free of pain as he skins a deer. Thanks for the compliments.

I like it!! Nice combination of materials. A red spacer would look good in there.  Where'd the blade come from?  Did yo make the blade guard?  The sheath is VERY nice.  Larry

The blade is from Two Fingers Knife Co. on the web. The brass guard is from Ragweed Forge, also on the web.
