I got a knife kit where you basically just glue and shape the handle to the tang but not sure what I can use for the glue. I was told smooth on but I cant get it locally and I dont need much, any other glue epoxy that I can use?
Thanks

I use 2 ton epoxy for mine. I just make sure everything is as flat and flush fitting as possible. And also clean.

I have used Weldwood before. It is a contact cement and so far the handle has stayed together.  I'll know for sure one of these years when I harvest a deer with a stick bow I'll use that knife to dress it.

4 min. epoxy by JB weld works really well also.
I reckon so

Devcon epoxy from Walmart, 2 bucks.  Either 2 Ton or 5 min will work fine.

I use 2 ton epoxy, you need to make sure every part of the blade and the wood are clean, use acetone to clean with.  The only thing with 2 ton epoxy is after many times in the dish washer the heat will make the handles seperate from the blade.  In a hunting knife you should have no problem.  good luck.
